Even though this character does have a video done and was in the roster, This character is no longer a part of Lawl Gunsmoke. i'd still like to keep this page and moveset up though...but yeah, this one's up for grabs now,
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION/ORIGINS/PLAYSTYLE[]
Captain S (real name "Chad Belmont") originates from the YouTube series "The New Adventures Of Captain S" which is meant to be a parody of "Captain N: The Game Master". Chad is someone who is chosen to be the defender of Videoland and is given many tools to do so but sometimes he gets a little carried away with them (as seen in episode 6). As such, he is on the more slower side with not too many powerful attacks...at first.
GIMMICK[]
The Meter[]
Chad has a meter by his HUD. The reason why this is here is because he has two versions of each Special Move. One if the meter is high/full and the other for if it is low/empty. How you refill it is something we will get into later, though normals aren't affected by this.
Neutral B:[]
The Zapper[]
Chad will pull out a zapper and shoot a beam out of it. As long as you hold down B the beam stays. When the meter is low, it just becomes a weak projectile much like Fox's Blaster.
Side B:[]
Fire Art[]
Chad will cast a fire spell and shoot a fireball at the opponent. These act like Arle's (Lawl Dream) Level 2 fireballs. If you charge it, however, you get Fire Rain, which is a close up move which traps opponents in a rain of fire that deal massive knockback. If the meter is low then you can only use fireball.
Up B:[]
Ship Flight[]
Chad will jump into a space ship which sends him upwards. You can aim where it goes meaning you can ram into opponents. Pressing B will make him use a boost, taking up a bit of the meter but makes the move more powerful. Once you have 15% of the meter left, you can no longer use the boost.
Down B:[]
PAUSE![]
Chad hits the pause button on his controller belt. This acts like a counter and if someone attacks, they will be sent flying back with no damage dealt. This is how you refill the meter and at first it fills it to full when successfully used. However, the more this move is used, the less it fills up.
FINAL SMASH:[]
Game Genie Destruction[]
Chad will trap the opponent in a Game Genie and then throw it in the air before shooting it. This creates a massive explosion, hurting anyone near him.

TRIVIA/CUT CONTENT[]
- His Meter is inspired by the bar from a scene in the episode "Captain S'll make ya clap, clap!"
- Until the Patch, this used to be Ryder's least favorite set since it was more so rushed.
- He was the winner of a replacement poll for a currently cut fighter. (SMG3)
- His Up Special originally had him shooting a projectile from the ship but this was changed to a boost due to both positive feedback and it not fitting with his playstyle in hindsight.
- His Meter originally worked MUCH differently. This would have the meter refill overtime when empty and making it so when if was empty, every B move was useless. This was changed due to Ryder not liking it AT ALL when he looked back on it.
- He was actually planned for Lawl Theresnoname but is now cut due this this moveset existing.
