Playable Characters

A playable character, or fighter, is a character that players can control in the Super Smash Bros. Lawl series and also Lawl Spinoffs. The fighting game series, launched in 2009 by Chincherrinas, features 38 playable characters from different franchises. Most of the characters are from meme franchises, but some are from other franchises.

The first game, Super Smash Lawl, featured fifteen characters from the start: I.M Meen, The King, Nostalgia Critic, Leonidas, Tommy Wiseau, Madotsuki, Angry Video Game Nerd, and others. Twenty additional characters were unlockable: Mama Luigi, Irate Gamer, Adolf Hitler, and others.

In Super Smash Lawl Spinoffs, the initial starting roster features a small or average number of characters. The other characters are unlocked by playing the game and completing milestones in the various modes.
