Otto Layfield is a fanmade character in the Harry's Island series. He is Harry Bradshaw's best friend and bro, and also serves as the Vice President of Harry's Island. Otto is portrayed as the straight man between him and Harry, as he often scolds Harry for doing irresponsible and inappropriate things, such as getting drunk or doing sexually suggestive mannerisms. But he is just as bad as Harry, since he's also violent, loud, insane, mentally unstable and unpredictable. Otto expresses his crazy personality by performing numerous violent acts, such as brandishing a gun and screaming at the top of his lungs for no reason. Another noticeable thing about Otto is his big bushy mustache, which is also odd since he seems to be around the same age as Harry.
Entrance 1: Ze Artillery Toy Box[]
Otto comes out of a toy box, then screams something nonsensical.

Entrance 2: MR. PRESIDENT![]
This entrance will only happen if Otto fights Harry Bradshaw. Otto runs to the stage exclaiming to Harry “MR. PRESIDENT, WHAT’RE YOU DOING?!?!”
Move Origin[]
This is based on the running gag of Otto being appalled by Harry’s perverted behaviour, which often leads to him to tell the president to behave himself… In his own over-the-top shouty way, of course.
Neutral B: Toy Artillery[]
Otto will release a toy from his toy box. His toys are much different from Harry B’s Old Toys, as instead of usual toys, they are instead toy versions of various weaponry. Otto will take a random toy from his toybox
- Otto can use his trusty toy gun to rapidly shoot opponents. But in order to prevent spamming the attack, he can only fire 10 bullets before he has to temporarily restock on ammo, which leaves him open.
- War Planes can home in on the nearest opponent and explode on them, much like Harry B’s regular planes, only faster and more destructive.
- Battle-Axes can be thrown forward, swinging towards people and damaging them upon impact. If these touch the floor, anyone can use them.
- Rocket Launchers will cause a cartoonish explosion when fired, as they do. This move can be very powerful as it can cause a lot of damage when near opponents. The only downside is he’ll only be equipped with one missile per stock. Use it wisely.
- A Viking Helmet can be worn by Otto to charge forward and damage opponents upon impact. It won’t save you from grabs though.
Unlike Harry, you cannot summon another toy after you have one out already. And they won’t be trampled on either.
Move Origin[]
This move is based on Harry Bradshaw’s Neutral B, as well as Otto’s habit of threatening people with his toy gun. But of course, just having the gun would be too generic a move.
Side B: Potatoes![]
Otto randomly says this line as he holds 2 island tomatoes. Like Harry’s apples, one is fresh and healthy while the other is rotten. Holding both tomatoes will lower your jumping, more so than the apples. Press Side B again to throw one of the tomatoes. The good tomato will heal anyone who touches it while the bad apple hurts a character who touches it, and actually causes them to throw up. Like Harry, choose a direction in front of Otto to dash forward to that direction. He will also dash faster than the president.

Up B: Wind Up Ladder[]
This move is almost the exact same as Harry B’s version of the move, only Otto will climb much faster, and taunting him will actually compel him to come down and yell at the taunter instead of continuing to climb.
Down B: WHAT’RE YOU DOING?!?![]
Otto will run up to people and demand to know what they are currently doing. Unlike Harry’s Tag, he will stop to talk to the opponent very briefly. The answer he will receive will depend on the opponent, but it always results in Otto screaming at them, stunning them until after 10 seconds pass. Like Harry, Otto’s much faster in this state, and the move can be cancelled if you attack Otto while he’s questioning his opponent’s life choices.

Final Smash: Self-Inflating Raft[]
Otto gets something from out of his toy box, getting out a box containing an inflatable raft. This will compel him to quietly say “There’s a raft in there…?” He will then gently poke at it, causing the raft to inflate to its full size, knocking not only Otto backwards, but any opponent foolish enough to be in his way. Be warned, because if you’re not careful, there’s a risk of this move KO’ing not only the opponents, but you as well. However, if you manage to not get yourself KO’d, Otto will get back up after being briefly stunned, asking “Who did that?”

Option #2: Otto runs around wildly while yelling nonsensically.
Option #3: Otto points his gun at the camera screaming “WHO SAID THAT?!”, then he shoots the cameraman, f**cking up the camera.
Option #4: (Only against Harry Bradshaw) Otto yells to Harry “DAMMIT. HARRY! YOU’VE DOOMED US ALL!”
